Jon is chief strategiest and principal of The Alliance Labs (TAL) and has been consulting and producing branding, sales, and marketing solutions for Fortune 1000 industries for more than 25 years.
After attending Carnegie Mellon University, he traveled the world as a music director & composer, writing, performing, and teaching at world-renowned theatrical venues including The Second City - Chicago, Caesars Palace - Las Vegas, The Café Royal - London, UK, The Fringe - Edinburgh, UK, and Boom Chicago - Amsterdam. After retiring from professional music, he developed and managed brand and media experiences for consumer, retail and B2B operations. Clients include Nokia, Allstate, Starwood Resorts, Ace Hardware, Alfred Angelo, The Tampa Bay Rays, Jimmy Johns, Hilton, Embassy, Double Tree, Marriott International, Wynn Resorts, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Gold’s Gym, Panera Bread, PacSun, and dozens more.
In 2014, he founded The Alliance Labs; A full-stack creative digital agency. Since its launch, the employees and residents of TAL have worked with hundreds of organizations providing web and app development, UX/UI design, marketing consulting, and digital strategy, all while training and mentoring dozens of emerging, untapped creative young adults for full-time careers in creative technology.
In 2021, Jon and his colleagues formed the Consumer Cannabis Council (CCC) to amplify and organize the power and voice of the cannabis consumer while promoting the responsible adult use of cannabis-based products. The CCC’s mission is to educate, support, celebrate, protect, and defend the consumer, and that they are free to find peace, freedom, and comfort through a cannabis-based solution, however, whenever and for as long as they see fit.
Jon is often asked to present and speak at industry events and has lectured extensively about media, sales, performance marketing, brand management, and technology including Tech-Week: Chicago, the Chicago Chamber of Commerce, De Paul University, IC Stars, The Good Food Accelerator, and Columbia College. He lives in Highland Park, IL with his wife and 3 tweenaged kids.
